  The Susan Polgar Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation supported by charitable donations that was established by GM Susan Polgar, Winner of 4 Women's World Chess Championships and the first woman in history to break the gender barrier in chess. The Foundation is the proud sponsor of the National Invitational for Girls, National Open Championship for Girls , World Open Championship for Girls, All-Star Girl’s Chess Team, NY City Mayor’s Cup Invitational, and Tri-State Scholastic Chess Challenge. Delilah, one of the biggest radio personalities in the United States, has officially agreed to join the board of the Susan Polgar Foundation. Delilah can be heard nightly from 7-12 by approximately 9 millions listeners on 279 stations across the country. According to research: Test scores improved by 17.3% for students regularly engaged in chess classes, compared with only 4.6% for children participating in other forms of enriched activities. In approximately 30 nations across the globe, including Brazil, China, Venezuela, Italy, Israel, Russia and Greece, etc., chess is incorporated into the country's scholastic curriculum," States Susan, who is the driving force behind the Susan Polgar Foundation.
